Fusion weapons are powerful weapons used by Transformers. Notable examples include:

• Spinister and Gutcruncher's fusion bombs
• Megatron's iconic fusion cannon
• Gutcruncher's less iconic fusion blaster cannon
• Rattrap's fusion blaster, fusion pistol, fusion rifle, and fusion grenades

Several other Transformers' weapons are also fusion-powered in some way, including:

• Scorponok's anti-gravity gun

Dogfight was armed with two fusion reaction-powered blowtorch blasters in both jet and robot modes. Dogfight's Universe profile Fortress Maximus carried a fusion-powered photon rifle alongside his other weapons. When it appeared that Dinobot had betrayed the Maximals and attacked Rhinox, Rattrap tuned his fusion rifle on him, though he was talked down by Optimus Primal. Beast Wars (Part 2)

While defending a communications tower to contact a temporal probe sent to search for the Axalon, Rattrap shot Scorponok's hand off with his fusion rifle. Later, he used it to save Dinobot's life by blasting Blackarachnia over a cliff. The Probe

Despite being blinded by an energon explosion, Rattrap was able to follow Rhinox's directions well enough to shoot both Terrorsaur and Waspinator out of the sky with some well placed fusion blasts. Dark Voyage

During a battle, Rattrap sneaked into Ravage's Transwarp cruiser. Rattrap chewed his way into the ship and tossed a couple of grenades at Tarantulas. Not knowing what they were, Tarantulas caught them. Realizing what they were, Tarantulas could do nothing but scream since the grenades were stuck firmly on his hands with magnetic clamps. Beast Wars Universe

The fusion pistol was a portable gun carried by the Maximal Rattrap. After he became a Transmetal, his main weapon was a fusion rifle which shared the same shape with the fusion pistol, but it had a different color. Dreamwave Generation One continuity

Cindersaur's creature mode had a fusion-powered flame-thrower mounted in its mouth which he could fire with extreme accuracy. Cindersaur's More than Meets the Eye profile In jet mode, Dogfight could use his fusion-powered blowtorch cannons as either offensive weapons or engine boosters. Dogfight's More than Meets the Eye profile In jet mode, Gutcruncher's Stratotronic Jet was armed with fusion bombs, and in battle station mode it could fire a fusion blaster cannon, according to Swindle. According to his instructions The Transformers Fort Max was equipped with a photon rifle, specified to be fusion-powered in his packaging bio. This mold was also used to make Super-God Masterforce Grand Maximus, Car Robots Brave Maximus, and Robotmasters "Cybertron Base".

• Scorponok (Headmaster, 1987)

• Accessories: helmet, anti-gravity gun, gun guard, shield, Fasttrack drone, 2 ramps, 4 dual photon cannons, 4 antenna, 2 leg shields, claw arm, side gun arm, elevator

The Transformers Scorponok came with an orange gun with a gray guard, identified as an anti-gravity gun in Scorponok's instructions and specified to be a fusion-powered anti-gravity gun in his packaging bio. In Japan, it was redecoed to make BlackZarak's black hole cannon.

• Cindersaur (Firecon, 1988)

In creature mode Cindersaur is armed with fusion-powered flame breath, according to his packaging bio, represented by the toy's "cold" spark firing gimmick. This mold was also used to make the Masterforce Sparkdash Guzzle.

• Dogfight (Triggerbot, 1988)

Labelled as generic "weapons" in his instructions, The Transformers Dogfight's packaging bio identifies his guns as rear-mounted, fusion-powered blowtorch blasters.

• Gutcruncher w/ Stratotronic Jet (Action Master, 1990)

• Accessories: Stratotronic Jet, twin laser gun, 2 laser cannons, left & right rear stabilizer fins, 4 missiles

As noted in his packaging bio, Gutcruncher's Stratotronic Jet is armed with fusion bombs and transforms into a battle station with a fusion blaster cannon.

• Treadshot with Catgut (Action Master, 1990)

• Accessories: pulse demagnetizer

The Transformers Catgut (available only with Treadshot) could combine with Treadshot's pulse demagnetizer to form a fusion-powered particle blaster, as identified in his packaging bio.

War for Cybertron: Kingdom

• Rattrap (Core class, 2020)

• Accessories: fusion blaster

Released to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Beast Wars, Kingdom Rattrap came with a fusion blaster based on his weapon from the Beast Wars cartoon, which can be tabbed onto his back in robot mode or either of his rat mode haunches.

Notes

• The name of Rattrap's primary weapon flip-flops throughout the first season of the Beast Wars cartoon. In all of the episodes where it is identified in the script, it goes as follows:^[1]

  • "Double Jeopardy" — stasis rifle

• Although Transmetal Rattrap frequently uses a fusion rifle in the Beast Wars cartoon, his Transmetal toy doesn't feature one.
