As both a sequel to the cameo-laden Astro's Playroom and a celebration of the PlayStation's 30th anniversary, it comes as no surprise that Astro Bot features almost too many characters, both from Sony themselves and various notable third-parties.
Organized here are all 200 of them, categorized by ownership and grouped by developer and series. Several entries also mention accesories that can be unlocked via the Gatcha machine to give the bots props that help add to their portrayal. These can sometimes take the form of an entirely extra character or entity from the universe that is associated with that character. The base game contains 168 VIP Bots (plus an additional VIP Bot that can be found once you've found all 300 other bots in the base game or at least 296 bots if you've taken advantage of the Old Save Bonus from Astro's Playroom), four bots that can be carried over from Astro's Playroom when found, and 27 bots added through updates.
