Patrick Martin Stumph (born 27 April 1984 in Evanston, Illinois), known professionally as Patrick Vaughn Stump, is an American musician and record producer.
Stump is best known for being the frontman, rhythm guitarist, and vocalist of the rock band, Fall Out Boy, which he founded in 2001 alongside current lead guitarist Joe Trohman, current bassist Pete Wentz, and former drummer Ben Rose. He is also the founder of DCD2 Records, which was established in 2005 and has produced works for many bands similar to FoB, such as Panic! at the Disco and Cobra Starship.
Aside from Fall Out Boy, Stump initially played for the metalcore band, Arma Angelus, and has released an extended play and studio album under his own name. He has also done some screen and voice acting and film composing.
Stump is married to Elisa Yao, and the couple have two sons, Declan, who was born in 2014, and Antero, who was born in 2016. Stump also has ADHD and is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences's Chicago Chapter Governors, which was granted to him in 2012.
