- And Here He Comes Now: An absent character being referred to immediately enters the room seconds later.
- "Awkward Silence" Entrance: A character walks into a restaurant (or any other public establishment) and is greeted with stares and dead silence the moment they enter.
- Axe Before Entering: Someone breaks down a door with a powerful tool/weapon in a violent, desperate attempt to get inside.
- Big Entrance: Someone makes an over-the-top, flashy, and dramatic entrance.
- Chimney Entry: Someone (who doesn't neccesarily have to be Santa Claus) enters another's house through the chimney.
- Coming in Hot: An aircraft has been severely damaged and has no choice but to make a crash landing.
- Crash in Through the Ceiling: Someone violently crashes into the room through the ceiling.
- Dangerous Windows: Someone smashes a window in order to grab at someone who is inconveniently (for the victim) standing right next to it.
- Drill the Lock: Someone drills the lock of a secured door that they absolutely need to get into.
- Drop-In Character: Someone who frequently comes into the protagonist's house.
- Dynamic Entry: Someone enters the scene via a surprise attack that nobody sees coming.
- Enter Stage Window: Someone enters another's house by climbing through their window.
- Entry Point: The player's way into an Alternate Reality Game.
- Grand Staircase Entrance: A variation of the Big Entrance; someone makes their entrance by walking down a big, glamourous staircase.
- Honking Arriving Car: A person who's driving up into scene honks the car horn.
- Illusory Wall: Basically a hidden entrance into somewhere else.
- Incoming Ham: The Large Ham makes an appropriately hammy entrance.
- Jobber Entrance: A Professional Wrestling trope: someone makes an anticlimactic entrance by already being in the ring once the show comes back from commercial.
- Joe Sent Me: Someone enters a room only on the basis that someone told them to.
- "Open!" Says Me: Entering a room kicking or knocking down a door without bothering to use the handle.
- Roll Out the Red Carpet: Someone important's coming, and you can tell because they're striding down a red carpet.
- Stealth Hi/Bye: Someone stealthily enters/leaves the scene by randomly popping in/out of the characters' sight.
- Strange Secret Entrance: A character enters a certain location in a mysterious, obtuse way that other characters–who don't know about the entrance–will have to get used to.
- Subhuman Surfacing Shot: A supernatural being slowly rises out of a body of water in a way that emphasizes their unnaturalness.
- Super Window Jump: Someone jumps through a closed window and makes it dramatically shatter.
- There Was a Door: You didn't use the obvious entrance point.
- Through the Ceiling, Stealthily: Someone stealthily drops into the room via the ceiling, in an inverse of Crash in Through the Ceiling.
- Walk-In Chime-In: A group of characters are having a conversation; suddenly, another character walks in and joins in with them, despite them not being there for the rest of it.
- Your Door Was Open: Showing up even though there's no reason why you should be able to.
