Isis Naija Gaston (born January 1, 2000), known professionally as Ice Spice, is an American rapper from New York City.
She began releasing music in 2021, having met producer RIOTUSA that year while they were attending college together at New York's SUNY Purchase. She first gained online attention for a dance challenge video that went viral, and later released her Breakthrough Hit, "Munch (Feelin' U)", in August 2022.
The song's viral success, which included public support from Drake, resulted in her signing a record deal with 10K Projects and Capitol Records. She released her debut project, the EP Like... in January 2023, featuring the singles "Bikini Bottom" and "In Ha Mood", before scoring a top 5 hit in February the same year with her feature on PinkPantheress's "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2". A skin in her likeness, some of her discography and, briefly, an NPC in her image were added to Fortnite.
She has collaborated with music megastars Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj. Ice Spice has been criticized for her repetitive flow, simplistic songwriting, constant twerking and her bizarre usage of feces and flatulence-related lyrics. She also voiced a character and contributed to the soundtrack to The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.
She has nothing to do with the Spice Girls or I Spy.

Her work includes the following tropes:
- Boastful Rap: Many of her songs, including her 👁 This example contains a TRIVIA entry. It should be moved to the TRIVIA tab.
Breakthrough Hit "Munch (Feelin' U)". - Celebrity Song: "Gangsta Boo" and "Princess Diana."
- Like Is, Like, a Comma: Uses the word a lot in her songs, to the point that her first EP was named after the word. It's become kind of her Catchphrase.
- Ms. Fanservice: She certainly plays the part, flattering her body as much as she can get away with even in her drawn album covers.
- Sampling:
- "Name of Love" and "No Clarity" both sample 2010s EDM hits, specifically "In The Name of Love" by Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha, and "Clarity" by Zedd and Foxes.
- "Gangsta Boo" samples "I Need A Girl Pt. 2" by P. Diddy.
- "Bikini Bottom" has a beat built around a SpongeBob SquarePants track.
- Her duet with Nicki Minaj, "Barbie World", samples Aqua's "Barbie Girl."
- Record Producer: RIOTUSA, her one-time college friend, who got her into making music and produces the majority of her tracks.
- Shaking the Rump: A staple of her image. While she invokes this trope in near everything she's involved in, the music video for Think U The Shit (Fart) is 80% Isis doing so, 5% other people doing so and the rest is miscellaneous.
- Shout-Out:
- "Gangsta Boo" is one to the late rapper of the same name.
- Speculated that a lyric about someone thinking about her while he brushes his teeth on "Princess Diana" is a reference to Bladee.
- The hook to "Think U The Shit (Fart)" is inspired by an image macro meme👁 Image
◊ showing Super Mario Bros. saying "Bitches be thinking they the shit but they ain't even the fart!" while smoking a joint. In reference to this, the music video uses a font similar to the one used in the logos to the Super Mario games.
- Toilet Humor: "Think U The Shit (Fart)" gets most of its comedy value from the contrast between the two scatological terms mentioned in its title, and the full version of the song ends with a fart sound. While it's her most blatant example, her other songs have liberal amounts.
- A Wild Rapper Appears!: Is this on "Boy's A Liar Pt. 2" by PinkPantheress and "Karma" by Taylor Swift.
- Y2K: Built her first full album off of this aesthetic, fitting for someone born on January 1st, 2000.
