The Wannadies is a Swedish Alternative Rock band from Skellefteå. They are best known for "You & Me Song".They formed in 1988 and released their self-titled first album in 1990, with their second Aquanautic in 1992 and their third Be a Girl in 1994, which included the aformentioned "You & Me Song". After having issues with their record label from 1997 to 1999, they continued releasing albums until 2002 and broke up in 2009, but reformed in 2016 and started releasing new music in 2020 and are present to this day.
