Intralci is a 2006 italian sketch-sitcom directed by Maccio Capatonda that ran as a segment of the italian show All Music. It’s a soap opera parody, mainly of The Bold and the Beautiful, about the surreal shenanigans of three married couples. It ran for 20 6 minutes-length episodes, every episode split in two parts.

It involves a lot of infidelities, pseudo-love scenes, Non Sequitur, malapropism, Insane Troll Logic, (intentionally) awful acting, and soap opera clichés taken to absurd and creepy extremes. The characters have weird and unusual names, the opening theme is completely off key, and the closing credits only consist of a random recipe (different in every episode) that has nothing to do with the show. Every scene, every second, every single dialogue is largely nonsensical.

For another demential sketch-sitcom who parodies soap operas, see Sensualità a corte.

This series provides examples of:

  • Absurdly Youthful Mother:
    • Gender-Inverted and Exaggerated: Episode 11 has Dr. Maceti's father visiting him at his home. Dr. Maceti's father looks way younger than the doctor himself. Justified as Dr. Maceti's father works in space and makes frequent intergalactic travels at almost light-speed, so not only he looks younger than his own son, he's actually biologically younger than him thanks to the relativistic effects of light-speed travels.
    • Giacchia, who is Al(f)onzo's mother and wife, looks like she's the same age as her son.
    • Also Gender-Inverted with Al(f)onzo himself, as he's both father and grandfather of Rebecca, despite them looking the same age.
  • Aerith and Bob: The names in this series vary from the real, even if uncommon, like Annaluce and Manolo, to names written wrongly, like Enzio note A fusion of the names "Ezio" and "Enzo" or Al(f)onzo note Both names are written with an s and not with a z, to completely weird names like Giacchia and Brut.
  • And There Was Much Rejoicing: After his wife Annaluce is killed by accident, Enzio starts dancing happily with his gardener.
  • Bastard Bastard: Rebecca is the illegitimate daughter (and granddaughter) of Al(f)onzo whose objective is to have the man signing a fake will to leave everything to her as he's dying.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Giacchia acts all sweet and loving to her husband (and son) Al(f)onzo. Meanwhile, not only she cheats on him repeatedly, she also tries to kill him in every way possible.
  • Blatant Lies: Played for Laughs. Giacchia tells Al(f)onzo that she has no idea where his collection of CDs of singer Amedeo Mango is while she's destroying it in front of him.
  • Brick Joke: In episode 3, Alfonzo's name is changed to Alonzo due to the writers making a mistake. Around the end of the series, as Rebecca disguised herself as an editor to make Al(f)onzo sign a renewal of his subscription to "Molluschi & Trattori" note Mollusks & Tractors under which is placed a fake will leaving all of Al(f)onzo's property to her, she asks Giacchia if Alfonzo Plumbell lives here. After Giacchia tells her that there's no Alfonzo Plumbell living there and kicks her out, she immediately returns asking for Alonzo Plumbell.
  • Brother–Sister Incest: Enzio and Annaluce are both this and Parental Incest, as it is revealed that Enzio is Annaluce's brother, husband, and father. See Luke, I Am Your Father below.
  • Death Is Cheap:
    • In episode two we learn that Annaluce's mother, whom the former killed, has resurrected.
    • Brut's reaction after her husband's death (that she accidentally caused) is "My husband Dr. Maceti is dead! I have to find someone to cheat on him with before he resurrects", only for him to promptly resurrect.
  • Dirty Old Man: Dr. Maceti cheats on his wife with young girls, corpses, and even men.
  • Everyone Is Related: In just the first two episodes we find out that Giacchia is Al(f)onzo's mother (and wife), Dr. Maceti is Giacchia's brother, Enzio is his own father and Annaluce's husband, brother and father.
  • Gender-Blender Name: Maria, the son briefly adopted by Enzio and Alvara.
  • Homophobic Hate Crime: Enzio hates gays, so finding out that his father is gay, he attacks him. As he's his own father, he ends up strangling himself while slapping himself in self-defense.
  • I Love the Dead: Dr. Maceti has many affairs behind his wife's back, one of which is with a skeleton.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: As Dr. Maceti is organizing hearts he intend to illegally sell oversea, he looks at one of them and says he's going to leave it for dinner as it stopped beating.
  • Killed Off for Real: Annaluce in the middle of the series. She dies, never appears again, and the name of her actress is (literally) crossed out in the opening. Averted with Dr. Maceti who dies in one of the early episodes but is Back from the Dead one day later ("I resurrected!").
  • Luke, I Am Your Father: Parodied to the extreme. Enzio finds out that he is… His own father.
Enzio: Annaluce, I know we have been married for years but I have something to tell you…I am YOUR FATHER!
Annaluce: (after screaming) I have something to tell you too… I am your SISTEEEER!
Enzio: But that means… I am MY father! Oh, dad, I have finally found you! (he starts hugging himself)
  • Large Ham: Everyone (except Manolo) is prone to being overdramatic, but Dr. Maceti is probably the one both indulging the most in it and doing it more intensely. Evidence here👁 Image
    .
  • Manipulative Bastard: Played With, as such schemes work less because the manipulator is smart and more because the victim is a complete idiot.
    • Giacchia tricks his husband and son Al(f)onzo that Giacchia's lover, a black guy named Jonasat, is Al(f)onzo's father so that she can openly cheat on him with out him being angry.
    • Dr. Maceti tricks his wife Brut into thinking she's become blind by spiking her coffee with atropine, then he cover her eyes with band-aids, covers her ears, covers her body with a jacket as he tells her that cold made her blind, gives her a stuffed bear to make her think that she's touching him just to have a one night stand with Alvara in front of her.
  • May–December Romance: Dr. Maceti is a Dirty Old Man and much older than his wife Brut. And his mistress Alvara is so young that she could easily pass off as his granddaughter.
  • Morally Ambiguous Doctorate: Dr. Maceti is completely fine with participating in organ trafficking and eating human hearts for dinner.
  • Murder by Mistake: Brunos, a hitman hired by Enzio to kill Manolo, whom he thinks he has the plague, accidentally kills Enzio’s wife Annaluce instead. However Enzio is perfectly okay with this.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: Amedeo Mango, the unseen singer Al(f)onzo is a fan of, has a name that is a blend between singers Amedeo Minghi and Mango.
  • The Omnipresent: Played for Laughs. Manolo the gardener is able to be everywhere, even at the same times, like when he's both at Enzio's house and at Al(f)onzo's house at the same time. Justified as apparently he's mass produced.
  • Parental Abandonment: Enzio and Alvara adopt a "child" (well, he is actually a fat adult man in baby outfits) but after a couple of episodes Alvara decides to abandon him in a dumpster, with Enzio being angry at her for throwing their son in the wrong bin.
  • Parental Incest:
    • Al(f)onzo is married to Giacchia who is also his mother. He actually calls her "mother wife Giacchia".
    • Enzio is both Annaluce's father, husband, and brother.
    • Another relationship is Implied as Rebecca tells Brut that Al(f)onzo is both her father and her grandfather. It means that Al(f)onzo has had a previous relationship with his own daughter.
  • Promotion to Opening Titles: Manolo in the last two episodes.
  • The Scapegoat: Manolo the gardener. He's omnipresent and the other characters often blame him just because he's behind them at that moment. He's also advertised as such.
  • Shout-Out: The ridiculous names "Giacchia" and "Brut"note "brutto" is Italian for "ugly" are a reference to characters Jackie and Brooke from soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. Also, in one episode Brut accuses her husband of cheating on her with a dead woman named "Tarla" note from "tarlo", italian for "house borer", another reference to a character from the same soap opera (Darla).
  • Skewed Priorities: Enzio is prone to focus on the wrong aspects of an event.
    • As he returns home and finds his wife dead and his gardener alive, after he expresses his relief that the latter (Whom he ordered to kill as he thought he had the plague) is still alive, he then complains to him that he has not thrown his wife's corpse out of the house without mourning her for a single moment.
    • Hearing from Alvara that she threw their son in a bin, Enzio is angrier by the fact that she threw him in the wrong bin (glass instead of organic) than by the act itself.
  • Split Personality: Enzio, due to being both himself and his father in the same body. Enzio's father is gay while Enzio not only isn't gay, but he's also homophobic.
  • Sudden Name Change: Alfonzo's name becomes Alonzo from the middle of the third episode due to the writers writing it wrong and not bothering to correct it.
  • Super Gullible:
    • Al(f)onzo believes whatever obvious lie his mother and wife tells him, like that Jonasat his is long gone father.
    • Brut is made to believe from Dr. Maceti that warmth cured a blindness caused from cold, while in reality he spiked her coffee with atropine.
  • Token Good Teammate: Al(f)onzo is the only character who never cheats on his partner and never tries to deceive or hurt other characters.
  • Ugly Guy, Hot Wife: All three the married couples. The women are all fairly attractive, the husbands… not so much.
  • The Voiceless: Manolo the gardener never speaks. He rarely ever move, actually.
  • World of Dumbass: Everyone in the show is a complete idiot, from Enzio believing he's his own father to Al(f)onzo believing that spray deodorant could be able to prevent the plague to spread. The only people who are (comparatively) smart are Giacchia and Dr. Maceti.
