A cancelled video game for the arcades from Treasure that would have focused on racing. Once announced for a release sometime in 1999, development was delayed indefinitely in May 2000 with little explanation beyond resuming "once conditions are satisfactory".
Gun Beat featured tropes like:
- City of Adventure: One of the planned stages for the game to race in was set in a city.
- Cute Witch: Mirabelle is a cute and seemingly teenaged witch who rides a broom and uses her magic to partake in the races and eliminate the enemies and obstacles in her way.
- Expy: Squad-Man has been inspired by Treasure Man who appeared in comics published in the Mega Drive Magazine.
- Flying Broomstick: Mirabelle’s method of participating in the races is to fly a broom.
- Long Hair Is Feminine: Mirabelle has the longest hair out of the playable characters and is the sole female character with two of the males having short hair and Squad-Man having no hair at all.
- Ruins for Ruins' Sake: One of the planned stages was set at some ruins from ancient times.
- Slippy-Slidey Ice World: One of the planned stages was set on a snow-covered mountain.
- The Smurfette Principle: Mirabelle is the only female while the other three player characters are guys.
- Timed Mission: The player had a set amount of time to either reach a checkpoint or the goal or it is game over.
- Token Robot: Squad-Man is an android capable of flight and sprinting.
