After hosting three low-grade seasons, Grandma abandons her Object Show alongside the twenty-four contestants attached. With no host but eager to start the season, they encouraged or otherwise pressured Bean into being the new host which he (reluctantly) agreed to. However, the zero-experienced Bean didn't account on the responsibilities and hosting brings to be so stressful and trama-inducing...

Contains the following tropes:
- Abnormal Ammo: One of the new contestants, Neptune, has the power to shoot rubber balls out of his mouth.
- A Dog Named "Dog": Like with other seasons, all the characters are named after the objects they take after, with the exception of Emily Nitido.
- Amateur Sleuth: In "The Elephants Cried", Birthday Cake and Whisky start their own detective agency to expose the Money Man's secret scheme to the rest of the cast.
- Animate Inanimate Object: With Grandma gone, the cast now solely consists of anthropomorphic objects. And Stickman.
- Armless Biped: In this season, there's a total of 8 examples: six contestants who play it straightnote CD, Potato Battery, Rock, Vitamin C, Watermelon and Whisky and two who are limbless variantsnote Balloon and Neptune.
- Armor-Piercing Question: In "Vitamin C Saves the World", Bean delivers one to the contestants after killing an eliminated contestant (Potato Battery) out of his own volition for the first time ever. As all the contestants stared in horror.Bean: Isn't this what you all wanted? ISN'T THIS WHAT YOU WANTED?! TELL ME! ISN'T THIS WHAT YOU WANTED FROM ME?!
- Artifact Title: Despite the show not releasing its episodes five seconds apart as advertised, this season of The Five Secondly Object Show still kept its name intact.
- Ascended Extra: Bean was just one of the contestants on Battle for Grandma and a previous season of 5SOS but Grandma's abandonment left the current contestants to persuade (force) him into her hosting position and he even gained otherworldly (and uncontrollable) powers to do so.
- Bait-and-Switch Time Skip: "Vitamin C Saves the World" features a variant of the trope. In the episode, team Larry find themselves stranded in the middle of nowhere. When they come back to the showgrounds, they appear as if they've been lost for years (something the team actually believes). Though, according to Gatorade Cap, they were out for only a few hours.
- The Bus Came Back: Previous contestants returned after Grandma un-disintegrated to become contestants once more which includes:
- Billboard, Glasses, Stickman and Watermelon from the very first season.
- Marker, Paper Towel Roll and Rock from season 2.
- Balloon, Banana, CD and The Money Man from season 3.
- Bean is also there as the newest host even though Grandma didn't explicitly bring him back as a contestant or otherwise.
- Canis Latinicus: In episode one, Balloon refers to his team as "shibbly hibbly hoo", which, according to him, is Latin for "Happy Boy."note The correct translation is "Beatus Puer."
- Cast Full of Crazy: A good chunk of the cast is just plain bizarre in their mannerisms. There's the Cloudcuckoolanders Marker and Rock, whose speech and actions are plain unpredictable, Upper-Class Twit Money Man, Large Ham Neptune, and this isn't counting any of the one-off characters. Makes you think Grandma made the right choice in ditching the cast...
- Comically Interrupted Count: In "Forgot the Secondly", While the Blue Skateboards are counting for the challenge, Glasses sabotages the team by claiming they will die if they finish counting.
- Companion Cube: According to The Money Man, his only friend when he was a child was an inanimate jumper cable he affectionately named "Selma".
- Cruel and Unusual Death: The show's elimination method sees the eliminated contestant slowly overcome with a Festering Fungus.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: The competition in "Host the Most" was pretty much set in stone for Bacon Bread. When bringing a new host to host a challenge for the contestants, Bacon Bread’s host, Fun the Flower, did exceptionally well hosting a painting challenge, scoring 22 out of 30. The Blue Skateboard’s host, Controlley, seemed to be a decent guy, but the team couldn’t understand his boat challenge, despite explaining it many times, and even mocking his design, as the team scored a 6.427. And for Larry, they brought in Beer, a dirty hobo addicted to drugs, who ended up dampening the mood by making the challenge to get his life back together, which the team was able to do by putting him in rehab, making him a more calm and mature man. But he ended up leaving the show so he can pursue his own goals in life, and it didn’t help with the team somehow messing with time to shift three months in the future, getting a score of 2, with Bacon Bread being the clear winner.
- Department of Redundancy Department: In "The Elephants Cried", Tape Measurer has been very stressed out after since last episode, so Watermelon helps by giving a long list of activities Tape Measurer can do so she can handle her stress against the world, in the form of an informercial. Although, the majority of the activities on the list are pretty much repeated over, mostly "eating cheesecake" .Tape Measurer: [deadpan] I’m not gonna eat cheesecake.
Cheesecake Fairy: [suddenly appears] And here comes the Cheesecake Fairy~ - Didn't Think This Through: At the end of "The Worst Day of Tape Measure's Life", Magazine is eliminated from the contest. She asks if she's going to grow out funguses like Miniature Portrait from the last episode, but Bean denies that method, as he doesn't want to cause that again, so instead he creates a loser's area called the "good place" and makes her stay inside it for the rest of the show, without getting killed. As soon as she touches the box, she disappears. Bean turns concerned that he never created a whole room before and never tested the box out. He tries to ask Magazine to step out of the good place to see if she's okay, but she doesn't respond, instead a few mushrooms sprout from the box, making Bean panic as he may have killed her.
- Freudian Excuse: Parodied in "The Lollipop of Doom", where, after their detective business was revealed to be a sham, Birthday Cake blames the fact they never learned how to tie their shoes on why they started it in the first place. Surprisingly, everyone feels pity for them.
- Hell Is That Noise: In one episode, Watermelon decides to blow sawdust in Stickman's eyes, which naturally causes him to scream in pain. The sound of Stickman's screaming is apparently so torturous, a nearby tree decides to kill itself so it won't have to hear the screaming anymore.
- Hope Spot: In "The Lollipop of Doom", Bean ends up in a depressive rut after he might've killed his old friend Ender Pearl. By the end of the episode, he returns to a relatively normal state...which is immediately reversed by the contestants pressuring him into killing CD.
- Instantly Proven Wrong: In "The Lollipop of Doom", Stickman suddenly realizes Emily Nitido may be a child. Billboard is suspicious of Stickman's claims, only to see Emily with a Propeller Hat of Whimsy and a giant lollipop while surrounded by bubbles.
- Jerkass Ball: At the 5th elimination, CD is voted out from the competition, and lashes out at everyone for voting her out, swearing her revenge. But the others won’t let her do that, and push Bean to use his fungus powers to kill her, much to his dismay. Even the nicest characters like Spell Book and Watermelon cheer on Bean to kill her. But as soon as they watch CD’s gruesome execution, they are horrified of what they’ve done.Spell Book: I don’t know what came over me.
- Moral Myopia: In episode 6, Gatorade Cap chews out Billboard for freaking out over Marker killing a butterfly, while seemingly being okay with CD's death. Despite this, Gatorade Cap was one of the contestants who wanted CD to be killed, while Billboard was nowhere to be seen.
- Mood Whiplash:
- After accidentally and gruesomely killing off Miniature Portrait to everyone's horror, Bean asks if Bacon Bread is in the mood for some pizza to which Balloon, back to being their happy-go-lucky self, agrees enthusiastically and then a random Pizza character comes out of nowhere to introduce themselves before the credits role.
- A similar situation occurs after Bean kills off CD, per the request of the entire cast. After everybody realizes what they've just done, Rock spits out the basketball he's been holding in his mouth, which proceeds to clock bean in the face.
- Never Trust a Title: Episode 6 is titled "Vitamin C Saves the World". Not only does Vitamin C not do any world saving, he’s completely Out of Focus, only appearing for a few seconds during the episode's musical number. Though, invoked Word of God implies he was stopping an anti-matter supernova from annihilating the universe.
- Non-Indicative Name: When The Money Man was a child, he went to a school known as "Rich Boy Academy"... which is an all-girls school.
- Non-Gameplay Elimination:
- Later in "The Lollipop of Doom", Bean disqualifies Emily Nitido from the competition upon learning she may be a child.
- In "Vitamin C Saves The Day", Marker gets stung by a mosquito infested with malaria, and had to be medically evacuated from the competition.
- Also in the episode, Telephone gets separated from his team when they got lost in the fields, missing out two challenges, Telephone was disqualified from the game.
- Officially Shortened Title: The show is usually either referred to by its sub-title "Bean's Show" or "5SOS:BS".
- OOC Is Serious Business: Normally, CD is a sociopathic Jerkass who shows no regard for others. During her elimination, everyone unanimously decides that she must be killed as punishment for her dickishness. It's during this moment when for once in her life, CD shows any emotion other than apathy or hatred.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: In "Forgot the Secondly", Miniature Portrait repeatedly interrupts Bean during the elimination ceremony, causing Bean to lose it and call Miniature Portrait out.Bean: ...and Miniature Portrait, you just really get on everybody's nerves.
Miniature Portrait: I don't.
Bean: Yes, you do.
MP: I don't.
Bean: Yes, you do, you're getting on my nerves-
MP: I don't.
Bean: (Suddenly Shouting) EVERY SINGLE DAMN TIME I SAY ANYTHING, YOU JUST INTERRUPT ME! WITH "I DO!" "I AM!" DUDE! YOU ARE ELIMINATED! YOU. ARE. ELIMINATED!!! - Screw This, I'm Outta Here!: While introducing the cast, Grandma says “this ain’t your grandma’s object show”, causing her to get unmotivated and ditch the show after realizing what she said.
- Shoo Out the Clowns: The reason why Emily was written off the show in episode 5 was because of the show's change to a gradually darker tone.
- Skewed Priorities: In "Return Of The Bubbling Boy", Birthday Cake checks over a blueprint for The Money Man's dream mansion. Despite the blueprints containing plans for an explicitly-titled "Evil Room", Birthday Cake is more shocked over the fact it also contains plans for a bedroom with a bunk bed.
- Stereotypical Nerd: Glasses seems to have shades of this trope. He's designed after the typical thick-rimmed Nerd Glasses, speaks in a nasally voice, and is shown to be somewhat clueless. However, everyone on his team seems to be on good terms with him.
- Tasty Tears: In "Vitamin C Saves The Day", the challenge is to give Bean a drink to make him feel better. When Whisky sees how Money Man is crying a lot from snapping his fingers, he gets the idea to grab a cup and fill it with his tears to serve to Bean.Whisky: Bean, I've got water for you.
Bean: Wow, that's really gross.
Whisky: It's Money Man's delicious teras~
[Bean is disgusted when he hears this]
Whisky: He used to have a jumper cable, you know.
Bean: Okay? It's disgusting, but I guess you did get me a glass of water, so the Blue Skateboards win. - That Reminds Me of a Song: Almost every musical number in the show comes out of nowhere. For example:
- In episode 1, after Glasses tells them they would die if they counted to ten, the Blue Skateboards break into song to lament their predicament.
- In episode 3, Birthday Cake and Whisky break into song to sing about their plan to expose the Money Man.
- In episode 6, Glasses has a conversation about water, which then leads to him and his team to sing about how wonderful it is.
- Subverted in episode 7, Paper Towel Jr. Is confused about how Whisky managed to eat the cheeseburger with sprinkles despite it being on the ground, which cues Balloon to start a song about sprinkles. But Glasses bluntly rejects it.
- Wacky Parent, Serious Child: Paper Towel Roll is presented as an eccentric Dumb Jock with a bit of a temper. His son, however, is much more reasonable and is one of the only sane people in the cast.
- Wham Shot: We get to experience Bean's powers first hand when he snaps his fingers to eliminate Miniature Portrait... Only for the latter to burst out into mushrooms and be left permanently dead, showcasing how traumatic it is to be a host in the Sacriverse.
- Word Salad Title: A few episodes have titles that make little to no sense. For example, there's "The Elephants Cried" and "The Lollipop of Doom". Neither episodes involved weeping elephants nor deadly lollipops.
- Would Harm a Senior: In episode 1, Miniature Portrait casually brags about how he beats up old people during a conversation with Gatorade Cap.
- Yank the Dog's Chain: As Bean wakes up from his nap in "Host the Most", he meets Fun the Flower, a host substituing for the day and notices that Bean isn't looking well, but he demands her to leave the place. Fun understands and offers to help him incase he's ever feeling stressed, but then Glasses snips her stem off, killing her, as Glasses thought she was bothering Bean and got rid of her before the problem could escalate, much to Bean's frustration.
