Cassidy Eissing is the Development Associate at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), where she collaborates closely with the Chief Development Officer and Director of Annual Giving to support the organizationโ€™s fundraising objectives. Her responsibilities include assisting with donor relations, communications and marketing initiatives, data reporting and administration, and event coordination.

Cassidyโ€™s professional background encompasses Business Development and Marketing. During her undergraduate studies, she worked with business partners to launch a coffee shop in Williamsburg, Va, which has since expanded to William & Maryโ€™s campus. Prior to joining ISW, she gained valuable experience at a graphic design agency, where she assisted with campaigns for Chick-fil-A franchises. In her final semester, Cassidy interned as the Editorial and Non-Profit Assistant for ISW, which ultimately led to her current role in fundraising.

Through these diverse experiences, Cassidy has honed her skills in fundraising, marketing, communications, and creative design. She is passionate about leveraging her expertise in communication to support non-profit organizations with missions that inspire and drive positive change.

Cassidy earned a B.S. in Strategic Communication with a focus in Persuasion from Old Dominion University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. While at university, she was a participant in the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and took graphic design classes in her spare time. She is currently pursuing the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification to further enhance her fundraising expertise.
