Nidal Morrison is a Researcher with the Middle East Security Program at the Institute for the Study of War. She previously interned with ISW in the summer of 2021, working on the Axis of Resistance team.

Prior to joining ISW full-time, Ms. Morrison served as a research assistant at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, where she worked with Dr. Aaron Zelin on the Counterterrorism and Intelligence Team.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Harvard College, with a minor in History and a Language Citation in Modern Standard Arabic. She recently completed a Master’s degree in International Relations at King’s College London.
