Hi,
I would like to contribute the code, which enables the HTTPS support for webpages. My code is available at https://github.com/proteansec and an article was presented at https://www.proteansec.com/linux/awesomeness-open-source/.

Please consider adding the code to your plugin, which would enable the plugin to be properly used over HTTPS connections.

Hi,

I’ve created a pull request for the functionality. If you can test if further and add it to the repository it would mean a lot, since we could all use HTTPS support for this plugin, which is really one of the best social sharing plugins for WordPress I’ve encountered in a while.

Yeah, it would probably be best to also eliminate the http/https prefixes from my code in order to be able to load the counters from HTTP or HTTPS depending on what the web page is using.
