Hi all, my name is Rachael. Im new and Im looking for some guidance and support. Ive always had weight problems ever since I was young and in middle school I lost 60 pounds (went from 160 to like 95) in a very unhealthy starving fashion. My weight is like a roller coaster no matter what I do. In highschool I fluctuated between 115 and 140 pounds. Now two years later I am about two inches taller (im 5'5 and a half) and I weigh about 140-145. The confusing part is all my pants still fit me from when I weighed less. I have very big hips and my waist has actually gotten smaller since highschool. My waist is about 27 inches and my hips are 40! I want to get toned and maybe loose or at least keep my weight. I eat pretty healthy, im guessing between 1200-1600 calories a day.
I always struggle keeping a daily exercise routine. I like going, when im motivated, 5 days a week.
Here is what I have done the past two days:
30 min elliptical (3 mi in strides)
20 min walking on tred mill @ 3.6mph
20 min weight training
Is that balanced? Too much, too little?
