Gaza surfers ride the waves in 'first' Palestinian event
Their surfboards may be old, but that doesn't stop these young Gazans from riding the waves. "It's a difficult and dangerous hobby," says amateur surfer Mohammed Ghanem, "but it's one of the most beautiful hobbies that we have practiced so far," he adds. The Palestinian Sailing and Rowing Association organized the surfing activity on the Gaza Strip.
