Tibetans protest outside China's embassy in India
The protest, organised by the Tibetan Youth Congress, accused China of supressing Tibetan culture. The Tibetan government-in-exile, which is based in the Indian town of Dharamshala, claims China denies Tibetans basic rights and seeks to erase Tibetan identity. Around 85,000 refugees from Tibet live in India.
