Niels Berkhout founded AdGibbon in his bedroom after spending several years in Amsterdam’s ad-tech industry working for eBuddy and WebAds. In 2012, he partnered up with marketing specialist Justin Campbell to start building a rich media platform for mobile advertising.

In early 2015 major browsers began blocking Flash banners. This gave both Niels and Justin an idea. Driven to improve advertising experiences for everyone, Niels and Justin began work under the drive to ‘build a better ad experience’. Combining their extensive knowledge of HTML5 banners and digital ad-serving, they decided to transform AdGibbon into AGCS – an HTML5 digital production company for agencies and brands.

Ads are a beautiful opportunity to showcase what you have to offer. It’s been proven time and time again: when the right digital advertising message is shown to the right audience at the right time, with excellent design and animation, campaigns perform. This is the driving force behind AGCS’ creative production services.

In mid-2016 AGCS saw demand increase to help their clients get their campaigns off the ground and managed from beginning to end. With the team’s collective experience in digital advertising, AGCS has set up campaigns on Search, Display, Video and social media for multiple products across numerous regions.

In 2019 AGCS repositioned itself to be seen as a creative-driven digital agency, working in collaboration with a number of creative and media agencies, not forgetting the work we do directly with brands.

Over the years, AGCS has worked with clients like Universal Pictures, Axel Springer, Yamaha Motor Europe and Bathstore to build beautiful digital creative. With our amazing team of coders, designers and digital campaign planners you are definitely in safe hands.
