    I purchased this case Oct 2, 2024 for it's sleek stylish appearance and it's military drop grade. I also wanted a wireless charging option that would charge through the case as this one does. With that being said the phone does get quiet warm while on a beautiful marble wireless charger I had purchased, which could be the cause of the over heating. Moving on, the ring on the back is delicate, at a glance you may think that you can pull it all the way downward not the case. The ring on the back comes down as far as you might would imagine it as a small cup holder. As for the material its what I call a matte silicone so its not sticky or gummy yet makes for a comfortable and confident grip especially if you have small hands. The alignment ratio case to phone could not be any better the color is just as it shows online. All and all I give it 4 stars I would give it 5 but I don't believe the ring on the back is sturdy enough to be carried or held as a grip

    Here we are a decade later and why pay $60, or even $18 for a Defender on an older iPhone when the SunStory is a darn near perfect knock off of OtterBox Defender.

    Only real differences are:

    1. A few less โ€œlatchesโ€ on the inner shell

    2. Inner shell does not have any padding/cushion like the Defender does

    3. Defender is slightly softer feel on the outer casing, but not very noticeable unless holding side by side. Iโ€™d say the SunStory is about 20% less soft.

    All in all, without having drop tested it ๐Ÿคฃ for less than half the price of a Defender and the SunStory includes 2 screen protectorsโ€ฆthe SunStory is a great value
