Love the mousepad, its like gliding on thin air. The ONLY disadvantage that you should consider when buying this mousepad is if you have a wooden surface that is slightly "rough" it wont stick and it will make bubbles which is very annoying. Make sure you have a clean, straight surface!
This mouse pad is greatβsuper thin, smooth, large size. It sticks well to the table and doesnβt slide around, which is exactly what I wanted. For the price, thereβs really nothing to complain about. It just does its job perfectly.
wanted a bigger sphex v2 so i got v3. it is a good mat but not the same as the old. the texture is smoother, i prefer the v2 texture. the adhesive back isn't as good as the v2, i assume because of all the complaints from people who didn't know gooey adhesive would be sticky. v3 worth low sale price.
By far the best mouse pad Iβve used for FPS games (Warzone, Siege, and works well with other titles).
I bought this because it has a really really fair price tag and because of the accuracy promised with calibrated Razer nice. Iβm a huge Razer fan and this product did not let me down. I see complaints about sticky material tearing or peeling desk(s)β¦. Itβs not super glue and is intended to be moved or replaced, itβs just sticky enough over a large surface area that it sticks hassle-free. I have a metal desk so I wouldnβt know but the adhesive again is NOT super glue.

I've never used a "gaming" mousepad. Hell, the last mousepad I used was 1/8" thick and made of neoprene. This one is much better. Thin as paper, and thanks to the adhesive, not going anywhere when I need to suddenly turn my character around. Good Pad overall.
At $10, it's great value for a large, polycarbonate mouse pad.
Tip: Use masking tape to hold it in place, if you don't want to use the silicone backing.
It's thin, hard and the mouse glides over the pad. I love this mouse pad
The FASTEST mousepad I have ever used.
Immediate gains in GAMING.
As a long time fan of the sphex v1 this was a catastrophic disappointment.
After a few months of use it developed a shiny and smooth spot so.. throwing in the towel I decided to remove it from my desk. Big mistake. Not only was it catastrophically difficult it also managed to both leave a residue and rip the coating off my desk.
Thanks Razer...

This was the biggest hard mousepad I could find and it delivers. Feels much better than cloth. Not as smooth as glass mousepads but also costs 4-5 times less so it's no competition.
EDIT: Dropped my rating because after 3 months one of the corners stopped being sticky. I've kept it dry, it hasn't been moved, and there's no dust underneath. Might be a quality issue.
I have purchased 2 of these mouse pads in the passed year or so. Out of the box, the thing is bloody perfect for my mouse and the glide is superb. However, the pad will quickly deteriorate and lose it's incredible glide if you're using it for gaming more than 2 hours at a time.
The first pad, I let some dust and stuff get under the pad after cleaning it, my mistake. The smallest particles you can imagine will essentially elevate the mat slightly in those spots, and as you use the mouse on those spots they will wear down due to friction and being slightly higher than the rest of the mat making these spots where you can see the 'texture' of the pad is gone and it's just a shiny completely flat spot on the pad.
I bought a second one because I enjoyed the glide so much and figured it was my fault for letting stuff get under it and deteriorate the pad quicker than it should've with 'proper' use. I was incorrect, as after ordering a second one and literally duct taping it to my desk, the same exact thing happens in the center of the pad where the mouse is the most. The friction from the mouse literally grinds down the texture on the pad to the point that there is none in certain spots and then on those spots instead of gliding across, your mouse will almost 'stick' to the spot on the pad.
All of this goes without mentioning that this is the most fussy pad I've ever owned. When it does work, it works like a dream in terms of glide and overall smoothness, but if you touch the pad and the oil from your fingers gets on the pad or you're sweating slightly and that gets on the pad or if there's a hair that gets on the pad or dust or LITERALLY anything that is not the pad, you're able to feel it through your mouse intensely. I think I spend a total of at least 15 minutes over the course of the day just wiping off, blowing on, spraying + wiping this pad in the hopes that it will return to it's former glory with enough attention to cleanliness. It doesn't, and if it does it's only for as long as you can avoid touching, on or breathing at the pad. It genuinely feels like that's all you have to do to screw up the glide on it after enough time is just breath at it and suddenly it sucks. I wish that were an overstatement because again, I bought two of these pads in hopes that I could maintain the glide on them with proper care because of how much I like the glide on them.
Seriously unfortunate that the pad is so fussy, as I do love the glide when it's not being fussy.
I will be purchasing a hybrid pad after this as I want a hard pad but don't want to deal with the potential of it being 'fussy' again. Hopefully it gives me close to or potentially an even better feel than this hard pad.
