I wasn't expecting a simple thermal pad replacement to make this much of a difference, but figured it was worth a shot. I'm glad I took the chance because it totally fixed the issue. The VRAM temperature was heating up to between 108-110 C, which is way too hot. Once I replaced it with a 2mm pad, I stacked 1mm pads, the temperature dropped down to around 88 C. When I got in there to replace the pads, it looked like the factory pads had poor contact, which can definitely account for the overheating. Replacing the pads was a breeze. I'm glad I did this because it will definitely extend the life of my expensive graphic card.
I used this thermal pad with JEYI FinsCold iGlacier 8 M.2 Heatsink to cool down my WD SN850 NVME SSD. Results were spectacular. Basically, the max temperature I obtained was 39C when testing the read and write speed of my SSD using Crystal Disk Mark software. This is the best thermal pad in any price range I believe.

product was harder than most thermal pads I've purchased, had small rips on the sides, not a flexible thermal pad either.
Bought these to put in my sons gaming console as heβs been playing more frequently and we were noticing it was getting very very hot. These are easy to apply, donβt cause any damage to the device and I can really tell itβs working. Such a simple idea to a common problem that weβre using it for other devices.

I used this on my EVGA NVidia 580 GTX, and it worked just fine. I searched online, for OEM thermal pad thickness, it is 1mm. This product will work just fine.

As a replacement I thought I would try a thermal pad and this seemed like a good option . I went with a thinner pad for lower thermal resistance. It was easy to work with and cut to size. Overall, the process was clean and free of mess. Like thermal paste, it is not electrically conducting so I donβt have to worry about frying any components. It seems to be working so far.

Cut to the size you need, i used it for the memory and vrm's after re pasting CPU/GPU, used 1mm and it was perfect size. (Asus Strix laptop GL503). I highly recommend these as they have a high heat transference rate.
