Jonas' journey leads him to the sunken city of Ankal Aasha where he meets Raya's mysterious master Janaka Jiiva. The old wise man has already been waiting for Jonas and introduces him to the ancient legends of the Wormworld. Jonas finds out that the important role he himself plays in them will determine his fate.

After the unsettling revelations of Janaka Jiiva, Jonas finds comfort in the sparkling lights of the Great Celebration of Ankal Aasha. Together with Raya he then sets out on a journey on the River of Life which leads our heroes straight towards the mystic Worm Mountain.

Jonas and Raya explore the bustling city of Kingspeak and get separated when the city guards suddenly turn against them. Raya is brought before the King and Jonas stumbles into regions of the city that should better be avoided.

After an unsettling encounter in the Scrat Quarter Jonas makes his way to an old friend of Raya’s who seems to have his very own perspective on Jonas’ mission. Meanwhile, at the top of the Worm Mountain, an exciting discovery is made.

Jonas, Raya and Otomo leave Kingspeak to find the Dark Minions. Among the giant mushrooms of the Mushroom Forest, Otomo learns about a dark secret from Raya’s past.

The moment has arrived where Jonas has to confront the enemy. What was supposed to become a glorious victory quickly turns into a desparate fight for life and death.

Jonas and Otomo get back on their feet while Raya is carried off by the enemy. At Kingspeak, emotions are boiling up as life changing events unfold for the King and Muhadra.
