WorkSpaces Thin Client is a cost-optimized device that provides all the endpoint resources needed to support virtual desktop workloads, helping reduce overall end-user computing costs.
Data cannot be stored locally on the device. IT determines which applications end users can access within their AWS Cloud environment.
WorkSpaces Thin Clients ship directly to the end user's location. IT manages the device fleet through the AWS Console, controlling access to devices and virtual desktop resources.
A simple on-device setup experience guides end users through a few steps that enable them to access their virtual desktops in less than 5 minutes, without requiring additional assistance from IT.
We measure this device's carbon footprint and look for opportunities to reduce its emissions at every stage of its life cycle. Figures are for Amazon WorkSpaces Thin Client, not including any other variants or any bundled accessories or devices. We update the carbon footprint when we discover new information that increases the estimated carbon footprint of a device by more than 10%.
