Just cheap soap smell. Do NOT waste your money. I can accept inferior packaging….but no smell ? I am pretty upset. My cheap Gain has smell… to pay this amount of money .. upsetting.
I did not want to give this one star but it forces you to choose at least one.
These pods are sooo good and smell awesome! They are organic based and easy to use. The smell is relaxing and are safe for any clothes or intimate items. I’ve become a fan! If you enjoy a light, warm and refreshing smell to your clothing and linen then I recommend trying this product.
I enjoyed the cleanliness they provided; however they provided very little scent
This was the second time I ever used a laundry pod (I have small children in the home so avoided these, even though pods have quickly become the rage to use). My first pod experience went beyond my expectations and was a hard act to follow. Did these live up? I was impressed with their cleaning and aroma results. Whether real or imagined, I thought these did a brilliant job on eliminating odors and stains from a toddlers-stained underclothes and a baby’s stinky pants and shorts – caused by soiled diapers. [I did rinse twice, just to make sure any cleaning enzymes were washed away]. An important factor, for me, was that I washed in cold water and as noted above did do a double rinse, to be sure the pods plastic would also dissolve and/or that there was little chance of soap residue. Now there was a pleasant aroma while the clothes washed, which I could detect, and that lasted, to a lesser degree, while taking the clothes out. However, that aroma quickly dissipated, so much so, that I would prefer a version that had a higher degree of fragrance, so that it would last into the next wearing/use. Nevertheless, I will note this, any crazy aroma that the clothes had prior, were not present [a day after air drying]. Now, I did use two (2) pods, in part, because it was a larger load. Another positive surprise was the stains from dripping meat juices were eliminated from shirts – I usually pretreat but did not as part of my efforts here. However, a stain that I would have pretreated was not totally eliminated on a toddler’s all cotton dress.
The cost, per load, is an extreme premium, for me. However, the real value is in the results. Here, I had good clean results. An average quantity was supplied. However, at this price point, it would have been nice to have had a ninety-count supply, and these still would be premium priced. I saw no adverse skin reactions for having used these pods [on myself – I was the test].

Made in the USA, however, I do not know if from domestic and/or non-domestic components.
I used a top-loading high efficiency [HE] wash machine, with an agitator. Our area has hard water, so a single to two pods seems to lather-up nice for a large load. For a super-sized load, I may use as much as three (3) pods.
Criticism
There are only (45) pods, nevertheless, they were stuffed within a Ziplock type security bag within the presentation box, they barely fit. What’s worse? The Ziplock bag’s security feature was a total failure. The bag would not close! That’s a significant negative for me and I am reducing for that.

The child proof bag was nearly impossible to get open, even though I followed the directions. Once the bag was open I couldn't get it to seal again. What's the point then? In addition, the quality of the box seemed cheap and didn't even indicate the scent of the pods anywhere on it. They seem to wash as well as store bought brands, but the scent was non existent. I might as well have gotten a store bought brand and saved the money. I spent more money so that I can have the fragrance and even tried two pods for a small load to see if it helped, which it didn't. I don't recommend purchasing Hotel Collection Laundry Pods. Overall these pods are more expensive than the other luxury brands I have tried, too. I don't mind spending a little more for the luxury brands, but I want to get what I'm paying for.

I love these! I was paying for pricier brand ,similar and find the scent of these to last much longer. Love using for bedding, makes everything smell so good.
I'm so disappointed with this product, there's no scent. I got the product and the bag was already opened. I tried to reseal the bag, but the zip lock was broken. This should have been a clue that this was a previously used/returned item sold by Amazon. This is the 1st time Amazon has sold me a used item, but charged me for a new item. I followed the instructions to the letter for a top load machine. I even purchased the Laundry Sauce fabric softener and dryer sheets. It's a wrap, I've used it twice; and there's no scent. This week I used two pods and etc, still no scent. I will continue to use my Tide scent boosters because they do just as well as this expensive brand. I expected so much more from this product given the price I paid. I wouldn't recommend this product because it's a waste of money. I'm afraid to try Laundry Sauce since I'm using their fabric softener and dryer sheets and I'm still not smelling anything. I think all of this was a waste of time and money.
