This cute Phone Umbrella is the best little find! It works so well! My phone did not get hot at the beach and you can see your phone screen just fine too! The magnet is strong and I love the extra ring to hold on to. I’m ordering more for gifts because this is so cute and it’s awesome!

If you're on the fence between this one, and one of those cheap ones that are all over Amazon, just pay the extra money and get this one. This is hands down one of the best purchases I've ever made.

I do Doordash, UberEats, Shipt etc.. and every summer my phone absolutely ROASTS in the dashboard. I've got to have it up there to see/accept orders, and for the gps. Plus those apps kill your battery, so you pretty much have to have your phone plugged in charging the entire time too. Which we know just heats up our phone even further.

So every summer, for the past few years, I've been saying, man, I wish they made some kind of little umbrella or something to shade my phone while I'm driving. I had looked briefly before, but nothing really ever caught my eye.

This year, with our crazy heatwave in SoCal (regularly getting above 110°) I was like ok, enough is enough. So I can't on Amazon determined to find something.

I was bombarded with listings for those cute little colorful umbrellas. I was tempted, but there were a few things I didn't really like about them.

1.) The suction cup holder: I have a PopSocket on my phone, so I wasn't sure how their little suction cup holder would work on my phone. Plus tbh, I've used those little animal suction cup things before on my devices, and I had 0 confidence it would stay on the whole time I was driving. And, I didn't want to deal with taking that suction cup off and on my phone all the time.

2.) Most of those other umbrellas looked more decorative than functional, and I saw some people comment that the sun and heat just goes straight through the cheap fabric.

3.) Since I was going to be using this solely in my car while driving, I was nervous about the umbrella size blocking a good portion of my windshield, or being too small and be useless.

4.) The real selling point to me was the other umbrellas only have a plastic, straight handle. This product has a magnetic, flexible handle. Again, using this in my car, i needed something that I could bend and move to ensure the umbrella wasn't blocking my view while driving.

The setup that I have in my car for my phone and this umbrella is absolutely perfect. I bought a cd player phone holder here on Amazon, which is another one of those must have products if you work in your car like I do. Then I had an old PopSocket base in my car, which I used to attach the umbrella magnet to.

Have you ever bought something that afterwards when you use it you actually feel giddy? I know it sounds ridiculous, but that's how I feel when I use this little umbrella. It just works soooo perfectly I can't even stand it.

I love the fact that I can bend and move the umbrella due to the bendable handle. If the sun is at a weird angle, I can just bend the umbrella a little and bam, a shaded phone.

I also didn't realize how much I couldn't see due to the glare on my phone from the sun. With this umbrella, I can see the whole screen perfectly. (I hadn't adjusted the umbrella in the picture, that's why there's still sun and glare on the screen.)

Bottom line is if you're looking for a little umbrella to keep the heat and or glare/sun off your phone, just but this one. Don't waste your time with one of those cheap ones that you'll just end up returning or throwing out anyways.

Umbrella is large, bendy attachment to magnet is thick and feels durable. Magnet is thick and STRONG. This comes with significant weight for that magnet and means one handed operation feels much riskier (much easier to drop phone due to added weight). Absolutely provides shade and cooled phone down instantly.

I bought this phone umbrella for my trip to Florida and honestly didn’t expect to love it as much as I do! It worked perfectly on the sunny beach and made such a difference when trying to see my phone screen in the bright sun. It also helped keep my phone cooler and protected from direct sunlight.

Super easy to attach, lightweight, and surprisingly sturdy even with the beach breeze. I got several compliments and questions about where I bought it! Definitely one of those simple little travel gadgets that turns out to be incredibly useful. Highly recommend for beach days, poolside lounging, cruises, or outdoor travel.

I bought the cell phone umbrella for my kids, and it works great to keep them shaded. The only downside is the magnetic attachment—it needs to connect magnetically to the phone, so depending on your phone case, it may not stick well or be as useful. The colors are a bit duller than expected, but still cute enough

It has a nice adjustable neck, it can attach to the phone and to other items easily, it’s super nice feeling/great quality… though I feel sorta silly for buying it, I totally do NOT regret it - my phone has been over heating while I’m outside so this is a great creature-comfort option for me!!

Side note, it also can be used as a way to prop up your phone to just the right angle while eating at the table or whatever.

Very cute and fun!! Used for summer gift baskets and worn well. Not sure how the hold up or how ok g they last but they actually work pretty well.

We spend a lot of time outside camping, boating, sitting on the dock, and it’s almost impossible to see anything on my phone when the sun is shining. This little umbrella has solved that problem! Additionally, it helps to keep my phone from overheating. The magnetic ring attaches easily to the back of your phone or case, and then the umbrella attaches to the ring when you need it! The arm is very strong and will allow you to bend the umbrella in any direction or angle you want. When you don’t need it, you simply pull the umbrella off, and fold it up like you would any full sized umbrella! In addition to being useful, it serves as a fun conversation starter for anyone seeing this type of gadget for the first time! If you are an outdoor enthusiast who uses your phone while outside, you NEED this cute umbrella in your life!

I use my phone for navigation on the dash of my car and the phone gets SO hot from the sun and using the GPS and charging. This little umbrella is brilliant. You can manoeuvre it down low so you can still see over the dash and it keeps the phone much cooler. It also keeps reflections off the screen and makes it easier to see. I've even had other 4WDer asking where I got it from. Recommended.
