Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Learn more how customers reviews work on AmazonThis travel wine suitcase really exceeded my expectations. Its high end looks and extremely well made. The wine bottles fit snug in the foam cut outs. I have no worries now transporting wine on vacation. The built-in lock on the suitcase gives peace of mind knowing my wines are safe and secure during travels. Excellent price for this high-end quality suitcase.
I got this wine travel suitcase because I wanted something that would keep a few bottles safe without having to wrap everything in bubble wrap or hunt for extra padding. After a couple of uses, I have mixed feelings.
The shell feels pretty good, but it’s lighter than I expected, so I’m not sure I’d trust it for airplane travel. It’s definitely solid enough for the trunk or short trips, though.
Inside, each bottle sits in its own padded spot, and everything stays put even if the case gets jostled around. I’ve taken it on a short road trip and carried it through a parking lot in the rain, and the waterproof part held up without any issues.
It fits four standard bottles, which is more than enough for me. After a recent beach trip, I used it to bring home two bottles of wine and two bottles of liquor, and everything fit without any issue.
The durability of the handle is my only real concern. It hasn’t failed, but it doesn’t feel as secure as I’d like. I’m not taking any stars off for it yet, but it’s something I’ll keep an eye on.
Sometimes I wish Amazon's review system was 10 stars and not 5. This wine case is a good example. With 10 stars, this case would get a 9. With 5, I had to decide between 4 and 5. I went with 5 for the following reasons:
First, this case is SUPER light weight. If you are hauling 4 bottles of wine, the last thing you need is more weight being added to that. Although the case is solid material it is still super light.
Appearance-wise, I think the case is very sharp. It's made to look carbon-fiber like. Not matte like carbon fiber, though, it has a semi-gloss shine, which dresses it up a bit. The way the zippers connect to the locking mechanism is really clever. The zippers will stay put even if you don't tumble the lock to lock it.
Someone mentioned that the lock is not TSA approved, which I cannot comment on because I don't know the rules. However, on an item like this thinking a lock will make any difference at all is probably silly. I am just leaving the combination at "000", and if I ever use it with mass transit I will just put a small label on it saying "combination is 000". Yes, this defeats the purpose of a lock, but this case could be broken into in a million different other ways so it doesn't bother me.
The inside of the case is really well designed with sturdy lightweight foam and cutouts that are perfect for the "average" size wine bottle. One inclusion I didn't even consider until I saw it is a thin piece of foam that goes between the two halves so the bottles don't clank together. Smart.
Each side has foam pull-outs that create rectangular slots to store bottle openers, or whatever. You can leave the foam in for more protection if you want. The way I use it, is I remove the foam which frees up space so I can put small gel freeze packs against the bottles. At first I used the rectangular cutouts for the gel packs, but the foam prevented direct cooling of the bottles. The packs deform the bottle cutouts a little bit, but they spring back to shape after a while.
The only reason I would give this bag a 4.5 instead of a 5 is the carrying handle placement. Because the bag is zippered in half, the handle could not be positioned in the middle of the case (the zipper is in the way). This means that when you are carrying the case the center of gravity is off and you can tell. This isn't a major deal, but it is noticeable. Any solution would probably create problems worse than this, so it may just be the least of the evils. If you have less than 4 bottles to carry, prioritize the cut-outs on the handle side of the case to minimize the off-center feel.
All-in-all, I think this case is amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a practical solution for traveling with with wine bottles, AND keeping them chilled while doing so.
Product lasted one trip. Strap broke on the one and only trip
I bought this to safely transport wine bottles while traveling and it exceeded expectations. The case feels extremely sturdy, the foam cutouts hold bottles securely, and nothing shifts around. Zippers and locks feel solid, and the size is ideal for packing or carrying separately. It honestly looks like a high-end camera case. If you travel with wine or gifts often, this is 100% worth it. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

I ordered the AOZITA Wine Suitcase with capacity for 4 wine bottles. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the item based on the price and definitely feel it is worth the value.
It is a hard shell case with a TSA-approved lock. It comes with 2 styrofoam inserts in each side that each hold 2 bottles. It came with a guide and a foam piece that separates each side. If full, the bottles will not touch each other, which will keep them from breaking.
I have not used this for travel by plane yet, but it came in handy when transporting wine and small liquor bottles over the holidays. I am looking forward to taking this on vacation in the future.
I really love this lightweight and compact wine suitcase. I live in California and often travel to visit family who live in wine country. This suitcase comes in handy for bringing wine bottles safely on the road trip home.
The reason I didn't give five stars is because the suitcase isn't as strong as I thought it would be. I was hoping it would be appropriate for airplane travel. The plastic case doesn't feel quite thick and strong enough to withstand the rough conditions of checked luggage. The interior foam is shaped well to fit the bottles and hold them securely. But the foam is fairly lightweight and not the spongiest, again doesn't inspire confidence that it would survive airplane travel.
But back to the way I am using it - road trips! It's perfect for that. For this use, it's great that it's a lightweight suitcase. The zipper works well. I like the way it looks and it's easy to store in my closet.
A lightweight Wow! This wine travel case is modern, convenient, and a safe way to transport your wine. It can be used no matter how you are traveling. The locking mechanism is great for safeguarding your wines from others, especially minors. The case comes with thorough instructions and travel information. If you are taking a short trip out of town for the weekend you can empty one side for clothes and use the divider. I enjoy vineyards and I will be taking it with me the next time I go to one. It is a perfect way to bring home your new bottles without risk of damage in transport. A smart idea for wine enthusiasts everywhere. This case is well worth the price and aesthetically pleasing to boot.
