Jio’s Haptik Launches AI Tool for Business

On Wednesday, Haptik, Indian artificial intelligence startup, part of Reliance Jio Infocomm, introduced a specialized generative AI platform aimed at enabling business clients to build virtual assistants and backend information support. The platform, named ‘Contakt,’ is already doing initial pilot deployments, with the company expressing expectations for its expansion in the future. As technology continues to advance, Contakt emerges as a pivotal solution, addressing the escalating demand for business-centric AI solutions.

Contakt’s Powerful Capabilities

Driven by the increasing need for advanced business solutions, Haptik CEO Aakrit Vaish sheds light on the inspiration behind Contakt. The platform is currently undergoing rigorous testing with notable companies such as Upstox, Tira, Starbucks, and the Indian School of Business.

Contakt stands out with its ability to receive text, audio, and image queries through chat interfaces, employing the formidable power of OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 models. This versatile platform facilitates self-service options, automates routine tasks, and enhances agent productivity through Co-pilot features. According to Haptik CTO Swapan Rajdev, Contakt boasts the potential to amplify bot performance by up to 15%, reduce AI training efforts by around 40%, and elevate customer satisfaction by 20%.

Custom LLM for Brands

Contakt empowers each brand to cultivate a customized large language model (LLM) assistant, ensuring end-to-end customer experiences across various touchpoints. This generative AI assistant plays a multifaceted role, offering pre-sales conversational guidance, customer self-service, agent co-pilot functionality for heightened productivity, and intelligent analytics for tracking and optimizing key metrics. Reliance Retail’s AI Leap

Jio Haptik revealed another plan. Reliance Retail intends to introduce a generative AI beauty advisor chatbot on the Tira e-commerce site. Anand Thakur, the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Reliance Retail, anticipates integration. He expects that incorporating ChatGPT-like capabilities into the web sales assistant will streamline the buying process and improve the overall customer experience. Thakur views this initiative as a vital advancement. It plays a key role in shaping the future of retail technology, providing a personalized experience for each Tira customer.
