Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik, who departed the band in 2015, swiftly won hearts and ears all over, and in 2014, they became the first group to have its first four albums debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The English-Irish boy band also sold more than 50 million records worldwide before going on indefinite hiatus in 2016.
