Nicole Comstock

Nicole Comstock is an award-winning reporter at CBS LA. She joined the team in June of 2018 and covers breaking news at night.

She has reported from the frontlines of Southern California's most destructive wildfires, historic weather events, and was awarded a Golden Mike for her work on the 2021 LAPD bomb truck explosion.

Nicole previously reported and anchored at FOX40 in Sacramento and at KVAL News in Eugene, Oregon.

She is a SoCal native who grew up in Upland and graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with an MFA in Creative Writing.

She is honored to document history in LA and share stories that matter to the community.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking in our local mountains, stargazing in the desert, writing short stories, caring for plants and walking her Chihuahua/Pomeranian/Cocker Spaniel mix Bella.
