Tina Patel

If you're an early riser, you can catch Tina reporting on CBS LA Mornings. She's been part of the morning team since becoming a mom, so she's been sleep deprived for a while! Before that, she spent several years working in CBS LA's Inland Empire bureau.

Tina is a proud graduate of the University of Southern California, and she now works as an adjunct professor at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.

She has reported and anchored in Seattle, Las Vegas, and palm springs. She also helped launch news stations in Texas and the US Virgin Islands. She's originally from New Jersey, and still has a special place in her heart for the Philadelphia sports teams she grew up watching.

Tina has one daughter who is in elementary school and likes to brag than she has a later bedtime than mom!
