Yes. Illinois Tech holds one Commencement ceremony each year in May, and students in the program have the option to attend.

Online students have access to instructor office hours for course support and questions throughout the program.

Yes. Online MBA students may visit Illinois Tech’s campuses to meet faculty or staff, tour facilities, use the library, and attend events.

Yes. Eligible students can submit an approved photo and request a HawkCard, Illinois Tech’s official student ID card.

In general, transfers between the online MBA and the in-person MBA are not allowed. If you would like to appeal for further consideration, please email MBA-support@iit.edu.

Yes. Eligible students may use VA education and training benefits by following Illinois Tech’s required process:

  1. Apply for VA benefits with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (if you have already not done so) and obtain your certificate of eligibility. For more information on how to apply, please visit the Department of Veterans Affairs website.
  2. Send a digital copy of your certificate of eligibility via email to Christopher Lee at clee106@iit.edu.
  3. Register for PBA courses via the Application and PBA Course Registration Form. This is important to avoid tuition charges at registration time.
  4. Certifying VA benefits can take up to three weeks after the start of the term.
  5. You are still responsible for the tuition if the VA benefit certification does not go through for any reason.
