Course objectives: View steps to install and manage a Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform server, and explore a key set of the latest features that it provides. Describe the main issues to consider in a migration to JBoss EAP. Analyze applications, measure migration efforts, and refactor Java package names by using the Migration Toolkit for Applications (MTA). Migrate server configurations from previous JBoss EAP versions by using the JBoss EAP Server Migration Tool. Identify legacy security components that need to migrate to Elytron, and use the Elytron CLI tool to help with the migration.
