Students will also learn prevention measures to reduce the chance of developing diseases in the wilderness setting.

This course has prepared me with the basic knowledge for the EMT Specialization course.

I liked most of this course, but the part on Tourniquets was a bit old school. The USArmy has determined that a Tourniquet can be left on for up to 12 hours without doing any soft tissue damage.
