AP EAMCET Admission Experience

Application Process: My application process for admission into Engineering college went through AP EAMCET 2021( I was a resident of AP) which was straightforward yet comprehensive. It involved several steps starting with filling out the online application form on the official EAMCET website. Along with personal details, I had to submit academic records and upload scanned copies of necessary documents such as mark sheets, eamcet rank card, caste certificates, and a recent photograph. There will be a list of colleges in which you have to choose the priorities and based upon your rank you will be selected.

Criteria or Eligibility of the Course: To be eligible candidates were required to have a minimum aggregate score in their 12th-grade board examinations, with a specific focus on mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Additionally, candidates had to qualify for the EAMCET exam conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Meeting these criteria was essential for consideration for admission. I met the eligibility criteria by scoring well in my 12th-grade board exams and due to covid pandemic situation board exam weightage was not considered in calculating the eamcet rank. The rank was calculated totally based on the marks obtained in the eamcet exam and i got a rank of 2323.

Reasons for Choosing this College: Based upon my rank, I got admission in the college which I have filled in the priority list's first place. There were several factors that influenced my decision to choose Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering(Autonomous). Firstly, the college has a strong reputation for academic excellence and is known for its skilled faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. The college offers a wide range of engineering courses with a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with industry standards, providing students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience. Moreover, the college's location in Visakhapatnam, a vibrant city with a thriving industrial sector, offers immense opportunities for internships, projects, and collaborations with leading companies. The campus facilities, including libraries, and sports amenities, were also impressive and conducive to a holistic learning experience.

Admission Examination Experience: As part of the admission process, I appeared for the EAMCET 2021 examination. The exam covered topics in mathematics, physics, and chemistry based on the intermediate syllabus. The format of the exam was objective-type with multiple-choice questions. I dedicated sufficient time to prepare for each subject thoroughly and practiced solving previous years' question papers to improve my speed and accuracy. The best book that helped in my preparation was Arihant Publications. it's an Andhra Pradesh EAMCET Engineering preparatory guide that provides the last 20 Years solved papers. On the day of the exam, I felt well-prepared and confident, and a rush of adrenaline, fueled by the desire to showcase my skills and knowledge. The exam center's bustling energy mirrored my own anticipation, and as the exam concluded, a sense of accomplishment filled the air. Arrangements in the exam center were efficient and the exam was conducted smoothly.

Overall, the wait for the shortlisting and results was a mix of eagerness and reflection. Each passing day brought anticipation and contemplation, reliving moments of preparation and determination. When the results finally arrived, I felt like a culmination of dreams and aspirations. The allocation of seats and detailed instructions for further procedures marked the beginning of a new chapter, filled with excitement and the promise of growth.

Reflecting on this journey, I am grateful for the moments of challenge and triumph, each contributing to my growth and resilience. As I embark on this exciting academic journey at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering, I carry with me the lessons learned, the dreams envisioned, and the passion to make a meaningful impact in the world of engineering.
