On 9/11/2022, I got the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) UNDERGRADUATE ENGINEERING ADMISSION COUNSELLING - 2022 RANK CARD achieving a rank of 30 all over the Bihar. This BCECEB counseling is based on the percentile obtained in the JEE Mains. After getting the scorecard, I applied for the counseling process, which was very easy. Just go to the BCECEB UGEAC portal and register yourself for counseling by paying a nominal fee of 1,200 for Unreserved/ Backward Classes/ EBC and only 600 for the SC, ST, DQ (PWD).
After that, there is a choice filling round, where you have to select the colleges of your preference and if your score satisfies the college match-up, then you'll get an offer letter. The priority will be given in the serial-wise sequence. Since my rank is good enough to get admission to any Bihar Engineering College, I selected just one college in the choice-filling round, and that is Nalanda College of Engineering, Chandi (NCE Chandi).
On 23rd September 2022, I got my allotment letter via mail. And I was able to achieve that college against the UR seat. Now, all I need to do is to visit the college premises and complete the admission process. My Reporting Date was between 24-09-2022 to 26-09-2022. And I went to college on the 25th, as I have to bring all the documents specified in the list. This list is provided by the college itself, and you have to bring them for admission purposes.
25/09/2022, At around 11 am, I reached the place where I had to spend the rest of 4 years of my life. The place was so crowded and full of dryness. Corona was still at that time, and people were unmasked. The management was very poor. And the room in which the admission process going on was too hot to survive. I can never forget that experience. Due to bad management and poor arrangements, I was not able to be admitted on that day, so I visited the college again. It's 26/09/2022, the last day of the admission process. I reached the premises at around noon this time and was able to take admission before 2 pm. The last thing I had to do was to pay the admission fees which is around 3,330 only. On the 9th of Nov, 2022, Our induction started.
Last year, the poor management thing was sorted out, and ppl felt it was easy to take admission. Even I witnessed this thing. Everything was arranged so properly. I hope they will follow it up.
