AIMT Lucknow Campus Experience

Introduction

Hey, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from AIMT Lucknow. My overall campus experience has been good so far. I am currently in my 3rd year. Until now, I haven't participated in extracurricular activities like dancing or music. I am interested in sports, but my college does not have many facilities for sports, which is why I haven’t engaged much in extracurricular activities.

About the Campus

The campus is divided into two parts: one for technical courses and the other for professional courses. I don't have much experience with the other building of the college, but the technical side is very good. The environment of my college is quite pleasant; you can consider it as green, with lots of trees surrounding the campus.

First Year Journey

I joined my college a bit late. Overall, my first-year experience was good. I made new friends and got to know seniors who supported me a lot in fitting in. I mostly focused on my syllabus during the first year because I had to maintain my CGPA. At the beginning of my first year, I didn’t have much knowledge regarding web development or any other technology. After completing my first semester, I learned about web development and explored various resources to understand its scope. The teachers were very supportive and taught difficult subjects in an easy manner. By the end of the first year, I learned about data structures and algorithms and started working on them. I had a lot of fun in my first year.

Second Year Journey

After spending my first year mostly gossiping, it was time for the 2nd year. In my second year, I learned a lot about web development. By the end of my 3rd semester, I had completed my web development journey. At the beginning of my 4th semester, I started learning data structures and algorithms and began solving problems on various platforms. During this period, I also focused on my coursework. I learned about Operating Systems and Computer Networks. In my second year, I concentrated heavily on my studies. The labs were conducted regularly, maintaining a deep focus on practical knowledge. I gained a lot of practical experience during my second year and started participating in various coding contests organized by reputable platforms. Overall, I was very focused on my studies during this year.

Third Year Journey

My 3rd year journey is not completed yet, but so far, it has been really good. I am currently trying to participate in clubs, but my main aim is to find an internship. That’s all I have for now; I don’t know what will happen next with me in my 3rd year.
