Last Updated : 3 Jun, 2024

Hello, everyone. I am a first year undergraduate pursuing Computer Science and Engineering.

The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE. It is primarily for admission to engineering and agriculture programs in colleges across Andhra Pradesh.

Exam Pattern

The mode of Exam is Online (Computer-Based Test). The duration of exam is 3 hours (180 minutes)The number of Questions are 160 questions and the questions are of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Engineering Stream:

Mathematics: 80 questions

Physics: 40 questions

Chemistry: 40 questions

Each correct answer earns 1 mark. No negative marking for incorrect answers.

MY EXPERIENCE:

I have taken AP Eamcet at the time of my jee preparation. I felt the paper to be easy when compared to jee mains. I have started my paper with chemistry as the questions were theory related. And then I went on to physics and solved theory based, formula based questions. I solved maths at the end. Initially, I started solving easy questions and then went on to tougher ones which gave me good results. Not all the time paper would be easy. I have scored around 92 marks and my ap eamcet rank was around 4k and was eligible for Computer Science and Engineering at Vellore Institue of technology Amravati.
