The year 2022 will be unforgettable in my memory as the year I attempted my first competitive exam Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test(AP EAPCET). In my journey, I have experienced both highs and lows and despite realizing my shortcomings later than expected, I surprisingly do not regret missing out on admission to top colleges. Through this narrative, I aim to share my candid experience and the invaluable lessons I have learned.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our lives were disrupted, and the academic landscape was drastically altered. As a result, online coaching became the new norm, and I had to adjust to a virtual learning environment. At first, the transition was overwhelming, and my motivation wavered, causing a delay in putting in the required efforts.
Our coaching institute allowed us to attend limited offline sessions during May despite the ongoing pandemic and oppressive heat. This made me realize how serious the situation was and how important it was to catch up with the syllabus. From then on, I felt the pressure of time constantly ticking away, and I knew it was a race against time to cover everything.
It wasn't until later that I realized the significance of preparing for my AP-EAPCET. This exam only allows one attempt per year, which makes me more fearful. It was a wake-up call for me. It was challenging to deal with the fact that I started late, and the fear of missing out on opportunities was daunting. However, instead of dwelling on regret, I maximized the time I had left. I learned that facing difficulties together can create strong bonds. I met new people and together, we formed a supportive group of friends who encouraged and uplifted each other during difficult times.
Although my journey toward this exam didn't culminate in the desired results, I treasure the memories and relationships I gained. I'm grateful for the struggles that led me to discover friendship's beauty and shared experiences' value. I'm content with not making it to the Top engineering colleges.
The AP-EAPCET exam was a profound experience that taught me valuable life lessons in resilience. I am thankful for the chance to grow and evolve despite the challenges I encountered. As I move forward, I hold onto a sense of renewed purpose and the understanding that success is not confined to academic accomplishments alone.

So the conclusion is:
The year 2021-2022 was a rollercoaster of emotions, uncertainties, and self-discovery. Though my AP EAPCET journey was not marked by triumphs at prestigious institutions, I emerged as a stronger individual with a clearer perspective on life. The pandemic taught me that it’s okay to be imperfect, to embrace setbacks, and to find success in my own unique way.
To all those who may find themselves in a similar situation, I offer this advice: Don’t be disheartened by late starts or detours. Embrace your journey, learn from every experience, and find fulfillment in the pursuit of passions beyond conventional definitions of success. Life is a beautiful tapestry of moments, and the lessons you learn along the way will shape you into the person you are destined to become."BE CONFIDENT BE CONSISTENT BE UNIQUE".
