I’m excited to share some of the most cherished memories from my JEE preparation days. While I prefer to keep my identity anonymous, I can tell you that I’m currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at NIT Allahabad.
During my 11th and 12th grades, my focus was primarily on board-level studies. However, in my drop year, I decided to take a bold step and move to Kota. Yes, the famed hub of JEE coaching—it sounds intense, doesn’t it? But to me, those days were among the best of my life.
I enrolled in the offline IIT-JEE batch at Allen, and as an introvert, this decision proved invaluable. The structured environment kept me away from distractions and unhealthy habits, allowing me to focus entirely on my goal.
One of the highlights of coaching institutes like Allen is the teachers. They treat students as their own children—friendly, approachable, and genuinely invested in our success. You could approach them not just for academic doubts but also for personal advice. Every teacher there reminded me of "Jeetu Bhaiya" from Kota Factory.
My Advice: Build strong, positive bonds with your teachers. Their guidance and support can make a significant difference in your journey.
One moment that I’ll never forget is a conversation with my father. I was on the phone, crying, and overwhelmed by the fear of failure. I worried about what people would say:
"Duniya kya kahegi? Lakho ke paise dooba diye (What will people say? So much money wasted!)"
My father responded with calm yet firm words:
"Beta, why do you care about the world? People will always have something to say, even if you clear the exam. As long as you’re working hard and being honest with yourself, you have nothing to worry about."
Those words gave me the strength to keep going and shaped my perspective for the better.
To all JEE aspirants out there:
