Sudoku, the globally adored puzzle game, is not just a pastime but a mental workout that challenges the intellect and sharpens problem-solving skills. In our college, we're thrilled to announce the upcoming Sudoku Competition, where students will pit their wits against each other in a battle of numbers and logic. This event promises not only an exhilarating experience but also an opportunity to showcase the brilliance of our budding minds.

This competition was conducted when I started my journey at my college IKG PTU Amritsar Campus. This competition was conducted along with a student induction program.

Scheduled to take place on our campus, the Sudoku Competition aims to foster a spirit of healthy competition while promoting cognitive development among participants. With Sudoku's popularity transcending age and cultural barriers, this event is inclusive and welcomes participants from all academic backgrounds.

Rules Of The Event:

The rules of the competition are simple yet demanding. Contestants will be presented with Sudoku grids of varying difficulty levels, ranging from beginner to expert. Their task? To strategically place numbers from 1 to 9 in such a way that each row, column, and 3x3 subgrid contains all the digits without repetition. Sounds easy? Think again. As the grids become progressively intricate, contestants will need to employ advanced logical deduction and critical thinking to crack the code.

Beyond the thrill of competition, the Sudoku Competition offers numerous benefits for participants. Firstly, it serves as a platform for honing analytical skills and enhancing cognitive abilities. Solving Sudoku puzzles requires attention to detail, pattern recognition, and systematic problem-solving – skills that are invaluable in academia and beyond.

So, The competition was started and I was excited to participate in it. There were 3 rounds to conduct this game. Even though I was interested, I failed to make my place in the second round, which meant I lost in the first round. In the second round, only the top four teams can participate. After their competition. The first team was selected, which has 2 members. And the game was played by those two players.

Whoever won, He/she will be the winner of that match.
