KIET Group of Institutions Fest Experience (Sprinthacks 2.0)

Participating in Sprinthacks 2.0, a national-level hackathon organized by GDSC KIET, was an exhilarating experience filled with learning opportunities and exciting rewards. With a staggering prize pool of 1.15 Cr, enticing swags, tickets to Singapore, and potential funding opportunities.

Idea Submission Round:

The first round of this hackathon was an Idea submission. My team submitted a presentation outlining our innovative idea, earning a spot among the top 50 teams.

Offline Hacking and Mentoring Round:

We embarked on an immersive journey at KIET, where teams converged to bring their ideas to life.

• Teams benefited from invaluable guidance and mentorship provided by industry stalwarts such as Santosh Mishra from Microsoft, Saumya Awasthi from Kigen, and Unnati Chabra from Zomato.
• We dedicated time to refine our project, leveraging the insights shared by mentors, and preparing for the showdown.

Final Judging Round:

• We competed fiercely among the top 12 teams in the ultimate showdown.
• Faced scrutiny from esteemed judges including Vishwa Mohan, CIO at Physics Wallah, and Sunchit Dudeja, Youngest SDE V, whose expertise added gravitas to the event.
• My team presented our polished project, showcasing its potential impact and innovation, aiming to impress the panel and secure a coveted position.

Attending the speaker sessions conducted by the esteemed judges proved to be immensely enlightening, offering valuable insights and perspectives. The meticulous planning and execution by the GDSC KIET team ensured a seamless and enriching hackathon experience for all participants. Sprinthacks 2.0 not only provided a platform to showcase our skills and ideas but also fostered a vibrant community of innovation and collaboration.
