Padma Bhushan is the third highest civilian award in India after Bharat Ratna and Padma Vibhushan. It was instituted in 1954 by the President Dr Rajendra Prasad. Every year on Republic Day, Padma Bhushan is announced for people who have done great work in their fields for many years like arts, science or helping the poor.

Padma Shri 2023 Recipients List

Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian award in our country after Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Bharat Ratna. On Republic Day when India’s Constitution came in place, Padma Shri winners are told for doing great work in arts, science, medicine etc. for at least 5 years.

Dada Saheb Phalke Awards 2023 Winners

The Dada Saheb Phalke Award is India’s highest award for films. Dada Saheb Phalke was the first Indian filmmaker. He made the first Indian feature film Raja Harishchandra in 1913. So this award was created in his name in 1969 by the Government. It is given every year to talented people for outstanding work in Indian cinema.

National Film Awards 2023 Winners

The National Film Awards were started in 1954 soon after India's independence. They are given every year by the Central Government to honour the best films and talent in Indian cinema. Awards are announced for films in different languages like Hindi, Telugu, Tamil etc.

Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2023 Winner List

The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awards were started in 2021 by PM Narendra Modi. They are given every year to children up to 18 years who do amazing work in different fields. For example, awards are given for bravery, innovation, arts, social work, sports etc. Winning get a medal, cash prize of Rs. One Lakh, a Certificate and a Citation.

Sahitya Akademi Awards 2023 Winners List

The Sahitya Akademi Awards were instituted in 1954 to recognize excellent writings in 24 Indian languages. Eminent writers are honored for their outstanding books of poetry, novels, short stories, essays and plays. The awards aim to promote high literary standards and the spirit of Indian unity amidst its linguistic diversity. Winners are chosen by a jury of distinguished authors, scholars and critics after intense scrutiny and deliberation.
