To successfully apply for Canada PR in 2024, achieving the minimum IELTS score is a crucial step, especially for those applying through the Express Entry system. The minimum required IELTS score generally aligns with CLB 7, which corresponds to a score of 6.0 in each section of the IELTS—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. In Canada, there are three methods to become a permanent resident:
You must confirm the validity of your IELTS test results for the entire six-month duration required by the IRCC to handle your application. To be eligible for permanent residency through Express Entry, a candidate must receive a minimum CLB 7 score for language proficiency or an overall IELTS score of 6.0.
