Accenture organized a pre-placement talk at our college in July 2024 for the role of Associate Software Engineer (ASE).
Round 1 (90 minutes) :
This was an aptitude round consisting of 90 multiple-choice questions with a time limit of 90 minutes. The questions covered general aptitude, MS Office, and computer fundamentals. It was an elimination round, with a cutoff ranging from 60% to 75%.
Round 2 (45 minutes):
Five minutes after completing the aptitude round, candidates received an email for the coding round. This round included two easy to medium-level coding questions with a time limit of 45 minutes. Candidates were allowed to use any programming language (C, C++, Java, .NET, Python, etc.). The questions were related to strings, stacks, arrays, and singly linked lists. To advance, it was recommended to solve at least one to one and a half questions.
Round 3 (25 minutes) :
This was a communication assessment conducted using Pearson's AI-powered application, with a time limit of 25 minutes. It included tasks such as storytelling, sentence repetition, and jumbled sentence exercises.
Round 4 (40 minutes) :
The interview round lasted about 40minutes. The interviewer began by asking me to introduce myself, followed by a brief discussion of my projects, certifications, and extracurricular activities. The interviewer then asked general managerial questions before moving on to technical questions related to object-oriented programming, DBMS, and Java (and other skills that I have mentioned in my resume). The interview concluded with an opportunity for me to ask questions.
Outcome: Selected.
