Akamai conduct two types of internship program one is summer(july-December) and the other in winter start(January-June)

Two ways mainly to join this program

one is for final year on-campus and the other through ATA(Akamai Technical Academy) programme.

student who shows interest in Akamai's Networking fundamentals course on Coursera can get a chance for the enrollment in Akamai Learning programme a iniciative by Akamai.

Selective student get a mail during Akamai's Netwoking fundamentals to enroll in Akamai Learning programme which includes four coarses (free of cost) consisting of

1.Introduction to web applications.

2.Operating Systems Fundamentals.

3.Introduction to IT Security.

4.Networking Fundamentals.

and i got HR call within 2-3 days ,asked general Hr interview questions about education and then with confirm my participation ,compeliting coarse within 1 month ,after that meeting link with seniors technical member to understand the recruitment process and to attend the In-office interview in Bangalore(Embassy golf Link)

I completed the coarse ,got the interview shortlist mail went there for interview,There will be total 4 rounds 1.Apptitude test & Learning Ability 2.Group discussion 3.Technical Interview 4.manegerial Interview

So, started with 80 students in round 1 time alloted 30 minutes(18 questions),then 40 students get shortlisted for next round i.e GD

in round 2 people participated in group of 5 people, i was among one of them ,topics given to discuss were from cybersecurity and Networks,out of 40 people 20 get selected for next phase

we were given a lunch break within office premise ,lunch was also provided to people shortlisted for technical interview round

After this, technical interview started with 20 people face to face technical questions started with introduction on Computer Networks and IT Security were asked mainly (in depth).Time duration about 45 minutes

After this round 12 people goes for 2nd interview/manegerial in which question were asked from fundamentals like Operating System(Linux),Computer Networks, DBMS,Data Structures,Oops were asked..Time duration 45 minutes.

verdict : 2 people were selected .
