Arcesium Interview Experience for SDE Intern (On-Campus)

Arcesium visited our campus for hiring SDE interns this year.

The whole process was subdivided into cgpa (8.5+) and resume based shortlisting, followed by an online assessment, and a total of 3 technical rounds followed by that..

Online Assessment:

• The OA consisted of 25 mcqs based on core subjects like DBMS , OOPs , and OS.
• It was followed by 2 medium level dsa problems.

Interview Round-1:

• The interview consisted of some basic level dsa problems involving implementation of frequency arrays and hash map implementations.
• There were discussions around the topic of hash table implementation and collision resolution in maps.
• Questions around OOPs concepts (mainly polymorphism) were asked.
• There were also some questions around compilers and cmd tools for coding in the command line.

Unfortunately , I was rejected after the first round due to my lack of knowledge in the cmd line tools..

There were 2 more rounds that followed, which revolved around medium to hard tagged dsa problems and standard HR questions regarding the expectations with the company and work.
