Bank of America Continuum India Interview Experience (On-Campus)

Bank of America Continuum India (BACI) is a non-bank subsidiary of Bank of America. The company visited our campus during the placement of batch 2023 around October 2022 for the position of Senior Tech Associate. Students from IT and CS branches with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 were eligible for the placement drive.

The selection process comprised three rounds after resume shortlisting:

1. Video interview
2. Technical interview
3. HR interview

Video interview:

This was an online interview of 90 minutes which was divided into two parts - coding and personal interview. The coding section comprised of two medium-difficulty level problems related to sorting and string manipulation. Then three questions were asked which we needed to answer and record.

1. Explain your educational background.
2. Why do you consider yourself a perfect fit for the applied role?
3. Explain the approach you used while solving the second coding question and its time complexity.

After this round 35 students were selected for the technical interview.

Technical interview:

This was an online interview taken by recruiters where the following technical questions were asked-

1. Introduce yourself.
2. Explain the projects you have worked on earlier.
3. How can you incorporate security measures into your web application?
4. What are the types of attacks which can target a web application?
5. What were the coding questions during your coding round? Explain their time complexity. Can you reduce the time complexity?
6. Explain false positives in network security.

After this round 15 students were selected for the HR interview.

HR interview:

This was the most interactive and easy round where the HR asked behavioral questions and checked the willingness to work across different technical domains. The HR was very friendly and made the whole interview interactive and comfortable.

1. Introduce yourself.
2. Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
3. Are you planning to higher studies?
4. What were the situations where you managed a team and solved a problem?
5. What if a company offers you a higher package than this? will you accept it or stick with BOA?

After this round, 7 candidates were selected and I was able to crack it. The key to excel is to show your willingness to work with multiple technologies and be eager and enthusiastic to learn.
