Selection Rounds:
I applied for the internship on the Hirect platform and soon received a call from HR for a telephonic screening.
During this round, the HR asked me to introduce myself and explain why I wanted to join the company. They inquired about my tech stack knowledge, past projects, and specific contributions to those projects.
After waiting for 3-7 days, I received an email and call regarding the assignment process. The company conducted a meeting to explain the assignment, which was based on an front-end project. We were tasked with redesigning the dashboard page and were given 2 hours to complete and submit the assignment.
Following the assignment, I was notified about the technical round. In this round, they asked me about my approach to the assignment and how I achieved the final design. They also questioned me about the projects mentioned in my resume and posed technical questions related to HTML and CSS.
The HR round involved behavioral questions to understand my mindset and expectations for the internship. They aimed to gauge my cultural fit within the company.
Two days later, I received the exciting news that I was selected for the internship and needed to join immediately. The next day, after receiving the offer letter, I joined the team.
I believe my honest approach to the assignment played a crucial role. I used a trial-and-error method to analyze and determine the best UI design. Remaining calm and focused throughout the process, without stressing over the outcome, helped me stand out. My primary focus was on completing each stage to the best of my ability and learning from the experience.
Overall, it was a great experience.
