Cisco Interview Experience (On-Campus) 2024

I am a CSE background student who appeared for Cisco for Software Engineer role on campus. The procedure was very smooth and the steps that I went through is:

1. Online coding & aptitude assessment

2. Technical Interview round

• Online 45-60 mins
• Calculate the different types of IP addresses for a given network
• Explain about OSI layers & differenciate with TCP/IP model
• Difference between router, hub & switch
• Differenciate between DNS & DHCP and explain their usage with example
• Write a code to check if 2 strings are same or not using bitwise operators only
• Project & resume related discussion

Unfortunately, I was not selected after this for the HR round but I hope this post helps someone get into the company.
