EY Interview Experience Campus Recruitment Cyber security Specialist Full time

The whole EY process was of three rounds:

Online Test Round

EY conducted the technical round as a virtual ( at home ) test. There were some aptitude questions based on directions, profit and loss, percentage, time, and work but all were quite simple and not too complex. As for the coding round also there was two questions and both were very simple. to test the complexity, the questions were of the level of the below questions.

1. find the total sum of digits of all numbers in an array
2. find the second largest element in an array.

Technical Interview

The first thing to be done is to study the interviewer and the role you are applying. The role is a cyber security consultant and the questions were all related to the topic

Here are some questions that were asked of me and other candidates:

• Tell me about your project ( and connect that to cybersecurity )
• Let's suppose you are storing your password in a database and connect the concept of CIA to this
• What do you know about Computer Networking tell me about it (I answered generally everything like OSI reference model, topology, and various protocols like TCP, UDP, DHCP, HTTPS etc) ?
• What is your college's IP address? a follow-up question was asked about whether it was private or public.
• What is a firewall?
• What are the various types of cyber threats faced by a software firm?
• How can we avoid cyber threats?
• What is SQL Injection?

HR Interview

It was very pleasant, for preparation I learned about the company, the Motto (building a better working world), and the services they provides.

well I was asked very simple questions like:

• How is your college life?
• How was your day till now ?
• What is one challenge you faced and how did you overcome it ?
• Where do you want to relocate ?
