Global Logic visited the campus for GET in AI, JAVA, Embedded Systems, and DotNet in Sept first week. My interview experience will be of AI. So there was an in-campus coding plus MCQ plus fill-in-the-blank types question first.
So there were 3 coding questions. The first was a question based on a string of easy to medium levels, the second was medium level and the third was medium to hard level. I was able to solve 2.5 out of three. Languages allowed were only Python for this role. The test consisted of 10 MCQs about computer fundamentals and basic mathematics. There were fill-in-the-blank type codes of PostgreSQL, I solved 2 out of 3 correctly and 1 was partially solved. The test lasted for about 100 minutes. It checked a variety of skillset for you but the major was Python. The MCQs were mostly about NumPy Library.
After this round, there was a pre-placement talk where 10-12 people from different teams visited campus. Only shortlisted candidates were allowed in this talk.
The technical interview lasted for about 50 minutes. The interviewer walked through my resume first and asked me to introduce myself, asked me a little about ML project in my resume. It was a group project so he asked me about my contribution to it. He also asked me to write codes in Python, of prime numbers and string slicing. He then asked me about a few libraries in Python. Then he continued with some OOP concepts and some SQL basic queries. Everyone was interviewed based only on things they wrote in their resumes.
The interviewer asked me about my resume, whether I was willing to relocate, and whether I had any post-graduation plans. He then asked me about the significance of a few things written in my resume. He asked me a few DSA questions, the complexities of some algorithms, and what data structure I would use in a given scenario. He then asked me a few behavioral questions, and ended the interview.
Here, the HR asked me to introduce myself, my hobbies, my hometown, my family, where I see myself in the next 5 years, why global logic, any leadership experience I previously had, my strengths and weaknesses, etc.
