Goldman Sachs Interview Experience

I was interviewed at Goldman Sachs a few days ago. Here's my interview experience.

First Round

1) The first round was a group discussion. Each group had about 10 members and we were given a general topic to discuss about. We had 2 minutes to think and make notes after which the discussion began. The discussion lasted for about 10 minutes.

Be active and listen carefully to the other members. Ensure that you speak at least once in the discussion. However, you will be given 30 seconds at the end to summarize and conclude your thoughts(depending on the interviewer).

10 out of 20 people made it to the next round.

Second Round

2) The next round was a general interview, where the interviewers tested our aptitude by asking a few puzzles. They also tested our knowledge in the finance domain and two SQL questions were asked.

5 out of 10 people made it to the next round.

HR Round

3) In the next round, stock market and finance-related questions were asked along with a few behavioral questions.

2 out of 5 people got the final offer.
